Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and be met by our representative. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps exploring the V&A Waterfront or watching the sun set behind Lion’s Head from the Sea Point promenade. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town – Table Mountain & City Tour

After breakfast, proceed on a half-day Cape City Tour featuring Table Mountain. Take the cable car to the summit (weather permitting) for panoramic views of the city, the Atlantic seaboard, and Robben Island.

Continue through the historic Cape Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum with its famous Bushmen exhibits, the Castle of Good Hope, and other city landmarks. End the tour at the spectacular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront – South Africa’s most visited tourist destination, lined with restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 3: Cape Point Full-Day Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour of Cape Point and the Cape Peninsula. Begin in Hout Bay, where you can take an optional half-hour cruise to Seal Island, or stroll through the atmospheric Mariners Wharf fish market.

Drive along the Indian Ocean coastline to the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town – one of only a handful of places in the world where you can walk among wild penguins on a beach. Continue to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope – the romantic meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans – and take in the dramatic cliff-top views.

Your final stop is the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 4: Cape Town to Sun City

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, depart for Sun City, approximately two hours from Johannesburg.

Sun City is the entertainment capital of the North West Province – a world-class resort offering luxury hotels, a glittering casino, championship golf courses, world-class restaurants, and safari experiences in the nearby Pilanesberg Nature Reserve.

Check in and spend the remainder of the day exploring the resort at leisure. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 5: Sun City – Valley of Waves & Resort Exploration

After breakfast, spend a full day at leisure enjoying the world-famous Valley of Waves – Sun City’s legendary water park, where a giant wave machine creates Atlantic-sized waves in a tropical beach setting complete with white sand, palm trees, and water slides for all ages.

Visit the extraordinary Maze of the Lost City, accessible via a suspension bridge, with its flaming torches and spectacular resort views. Explore the Butterfly Sanctuary, Bird & Tree Park, and Animal World. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 6: Sun City to Zambia – Zambezi Sunset Cruise

After breakfast, transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to Livingstone, Zambia. Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel near Victoria Falls.

In the evening, board your vessel for a spectacular sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Drift peacefully along the river as elephants wade in the shallows, hippos surface nearby, and the African sky glows in shades of gold and crimson above the treetops. Overnight in Livingstone.

Day 7: Victoria Falls Guided Tour

After breakfast, set out for an unforgettable guided walking tour of Victoria Falls. Your expert guide will lead you through the Victoria Falls Rainforest along the cliff edge, revealing breathtaking viewpoints of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Learn about the geology, ecology, and fascinating history of the falls while experiencing the thunderous roar and misty spray of the famous “Smoke That Thunders.”

Day 8: Victoria Falls – Day at Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a free day at leisure in Livingstone. Optional experiences include visiting the Victoria Falls Bridge connecting Zambia and Zimbabwe, taking a guided canoe safari on the upper Zambezi River, or visiting Livingstone Island near the edge of the falls (seasonal).

Day 9: Victoria Falls to Johannesburg

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure.

Day 10: Departure from Johannesburg
