Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Auckland

Arrive at Auckland International Airport, where a private sedan or executive MPV transfer will take you to your city hotel or cruise ship wharf for a comfortable start to your journey.

Day 2 – Sky Tower

After breakfast, visit the Sky Tower in Auckland for panoramic views from the observation decks including the glass-bottomed viewing platform. Take a short walk to Viaduct Harbour.

Day 3 – Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo Caves

Embark on a scenic journey to Rotorua. En route, stop at the world-famous Waitomo Caves to marvel at the enchanting glowworms illuminating the dark caverns. Take a guided boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto and learn about this natural phenomenon. Continue through stunning landscapes before reaching Rotorua in the evening.

Day 4 – Rotorua Highlights

After breakfast, visit Te Puia thermal village known for its hot springs, geysers and boiling mud pools. Watch Maori craftsmen and learn about traditional arts of carving and weaving, and visit Rainbow Springs. Later, enjoy the luxurious Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa – a Maori-inspired wellness experience blending natural geothermal waters with cultural storytelling. In the evening, experience the magical Redwoods Nightlights through towering ancient trees on illuminated suspended walkways.

Day 5 – Rotorua – Auckland – Queenstown

Begin the day with a transfer from your Rotorua hotel to Auckland Airport. Upon arrival in Queenstown, transfer to your CBD hotel. Take some time to unwind and admire the stunning alpine scenery of Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand.

Day 6 – Gondola Ride

After breakfast, take the Gondola – reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere – high above Queenstown to the Skyline complex on Bob’s Peak. Enjoy a spectacular 220° panorama with breathtaking views of Coronet Peak, The Remarkables mountain range, and across Lake Wakatipu to Cecil and Walter Peaks.

Day 7 – Milford Sound Adventure

Enjoy a full-day top-rated small group Milford Experience established in 1994, with guided commentary to and from Milford Sound. Join a stunning two-hour small boat nature cruise on the fjord, see waterfalls, fur seals, penguins and occasionally dolphins, in premium Mercedes touring vehicles with extended legroom, modern interior and panoramic windows.

Day 8 – Shotover Jet Boat

After breakfast, join the Shotover Jet for the world’s most exciting jet boat ride through the spectacular Shotover River Canyons, with famous full 360-degree spins. Tour concludes approximately 1.5 hours after commencement.

Day 9 – Queenstown to Franz Josef

After breakfast, check out and discover the wild beauty of New Zealand’s West Coast. Depart from Queenstown passing crystal blue waters of Lake Dunstan, Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea. Travel through Haast Pass and native forest, emerging on the rugged West Coast, before arriving at Franz Josef Village.

Day 10 – Twin Glacier Helicopter Ride

After breakfast, take a helicopter flight over both Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers, landing on the snow plains to photograph Mount Cook and Mount Tasman.

Day 11 – Franz Josef – Greymouth – Christchurch

After breakfast, check out and depart Franz Josef along the stunning West Coast to Greymouth, passing glacier lakes and rugged coastline with a stop in Harihari, and lunch (own expense) in Hokitika. Board the world-famous TranzAlpine Train in Greymouth for a breathtaking journey through the Southern Alps to Christchurch. Transfer to Christchurch Hotel on arrival.

Day 12 – Christchurch

After breakfast, day free for leisure.

Day 13 – Christchurch Airport

After breakfast, take in the sights, enjoy some last-minute shopping, or relax at your hotel before heading to the airport to conclude your memorable trip.
