Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and be met by our representative in the arrivals hall. Transfer to your hotel and check in.

The day is free for leisure. Enjoy your first taste of the Mother City with an evening walk along the V&A Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 2: Cape Town – Table Mountain & City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day Cape City Tour with Table Mountain. Take the revolving cable car to the iconic summit (weather permitting) for breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, harbour, and Atlantic coastline.

Descend and continue through the city’s highlights including the historic Cape Malay Quarter, the South African Museum with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Castle of Good Hope, and the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 3: Cape Peninsula Full-Day Tour

After breakfast, explore the rugged beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Visit Hout Bay harbour and enjoy an optional boat cruise to Duiker Island. Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the dramatic Cape Point, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.

Stop at Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town to walk among the famous African penguin colony. Return via the stunning Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens located on the slopes of Table Mountain. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 4: Cape Town to Kruger National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight to Johannesburg, connecting onward to Hoedspruit Airport in Limpopo. Upon arrival, meet your lodge representative and transfer to your safari lodge near Kruger National Park.

Check in, freshen up, and if time permits, enjoy an afternoon Big Five game drive in an open 4×4 safari vehicle through the magnificent African bushveld. Dinner at the lodge. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Kruger National Park – Big Five Safari

After an early morning wake-up call, join your expert field guide for a sunrise game drive — the best time to experience the African wilderness when predators are active and the golden morning light transforms the landscape.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the midday hours relaxing by the pool or on the viewing deck, surrounded by the sounds of the bush.

Later in the afternoon, head out for another thrilling safari experience. Kruger National Park is home to the famous Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — along with cheetah, giraffe, hippo, wild dog, and hundreds of bird species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Kruger to Sun City

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, check out and transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival, continue onward to Sun City — Africa’s most spectacular resort, located beside the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve.

Check in and spend the remainder of the day exploring the resort’s incredible attractions including casinos, restaurants, golf courses, entertainment venues, and luxury leisure facilities. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 7: Sun City – Valley of Waves

After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure in Sun City. Spend time at the legendary Valley of Waves water park, where a giant wave machine creates rolling surf on a white-sand beach surrounded by tropical palms and exciting water slides for all ages.

Explore the Maze of the Lost City, accessed via a suspension bridge and offering spectacular views across the resort. You may also visit the Butterfly Sanctuary, Bird & Tree Park, and Animal World. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 8: Sun City to Johannesburg

After breakfast, transfer from Sun City to Johannesburg. Check in to your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure.

We recommend visiting Emperors Palace, a world-class casino and entertainment complex near the airport, or enjoying a relaxed afternoon at Nelson Mandela Square in the upscale Sandton district. Overnight in Johannesburg.

Day 9: Departure from Johannesburg

After breakfast, transfer to OR Tambo International Airport for your return flight home.
