Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo – Shinjuku Gyoen

Arrive at Narita or Haneda Airport and transfer to your hotel in Tokyo. Day 2: Day Trip to Yuzawa Snow Mountain

After an early breakfast, board the Shinkansen from Tokyo Station for the thrilling journey to Yuzawa in Niigata Prefecture – approximately 75 minutes by bullet train through the mountains of central Japan, emerging into the snow-covered landscapes of the Japanese Alps. Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort is one of Japan’s most accessible and family-friendly mountain resorts, offering ski and snowboard rentals, snow play areas, and beginner-friendly slopes. The world-famous Japanese powder snow creates exceptional conditions for skiing and winter activities. Return to Tokyo in the evening. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 3: Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa & TeamLab Planets

Breakfast at hotel. Begin at the towering Tokyo Skytree (634 metres), offering breathtaking panoramic views across the Tokyo metropolis. Continue to the historic Asakusa district and visit the magnificent Senso-ji Temple – Tokyo’s oldest and most atmospheric temple – approached through the iconic Kaminarimon Gate and Nakamise shopping street filled with traditional snacks and souvenirs.

In the afternoon, experience the extraordinary TeamLab Planets digital art museum in Toyosu – an immersive world of water, light, colour, and interactive installations where art and technology blend into a surreal sensory journey. Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 4: Tokyo to Hakone – Scenic Adventure

Breakfast at hotel. Check out and travel to Hakone – the famous mountain resort town set within Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Enjoy a scenic Lake Ashi cruise with magnificent views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding mountains. Take the Komagatake Ropeway for panoramic vistas across the lake and volcanic landscapes. Visit the Hakone Open-Air Museum, where world-renowned sculptures are displayed against a dramatic mountain backdrop.

In the evening, check in to a traditional ryokan for an authentic Japanese experience featuring futon bedding, yukata robes, soothing onsen baths, and a traditional multi-course kaiseki dinner. Overnight in Hakone.

Day 5: Hakone to Mt. Fuji – Shinkansen to Hiroshima

After breakfast at the ryokan, ascend to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station at 2,305 metres – the highest accessible point by road on Japan’s iconic sacred mountain. Enjoy panoramic views of the Fuji Five Lakes region and explore the mountain trails and shrines (weather permitting).

Later, board the Shinkansen for the spectacular journey to Hiroshima, passing through the Japanese Alps and major cities at remarkable speed. Arrive and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Hiroshima.

Day 6: Hiroshima – Miyajima Island & Peace Memorial

Breakfast at hotel. Begin with a ferry crossing to the sacred island of Miyajima (Itsukushima), home to the iconic floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine – one of Japan’s most celebrated scenic views. Explore the shrine complex, pagodas, and peaceful forest trails where deer roam freely.

Return to Hiroshima to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, built near the hypocentre of the atomic bomb explosion of 1945. Visit the moving Atomic Bomb Dome, Children’s Peace Monument, and Peace Museum before boarding the Shinkansen to Osaka in the afternoon. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 7: Osaka City Tour

Breakfast at hotel. Discover Osaka – Japan’s lively culinary capital. Begin at Osaka Castle, one of Japan’s most famous castles, surrounded by expansive gardens and moats. Continue to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the world’s largest aquariums featuring whale sharks, manta rays, and marine life from across the Pacific Ocean.

Spend the afternoon exploring Dotonbori – Osaka’s famous neon-lit entertainment district packed with incredible street food, restaurants, and shopping arcades – and nearby Shinsaibashi shopping street. Overnight in Osaka.

Day 8: Kansai Airport – Departure
