After breakfast, enjoy a half-day Cape City Tour including a visit to Table Mountain. Ride the revolving cable car to the summit (weather permitting) for breathtaking panoramic views over the city, the Atlantic seaboard, and the Cape Peninsula.
Descend and continue through the city’s highlights – the colourful Cape Malay Quarter on Signal Hill, Diamond Works, the historic Castle of Good Hope, and the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, South Africa’s most popular tourist destination with its restaurants, shops, and harbour views. Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 3: Cape Peninsula Full-Day Tour
After breakfast, spend the full day exploring the ruggedly beautiful Cape Peninsula. Drive through the charming fishing village of Hout Bay, where you can take an optional boat trip to Duiker Island to see Cape fur seals up close.
Continue through the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve to the dramatic Cape Point, where sheer cliffs plunge into the swirling ocean below. Stop at Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town to walk among the resident colony of African penguins.
Return via the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, home to over 3,500 species of Southern African flora, nestled on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 4: Cape Town to Knysna – Sunset Lagoon Cruise
After breakfast, depart for Knysna – the jewel of the Garden Route – situated between ancient indigenous forests and the shores of a peaceful lagoon.
The scenic drive along the N2 takes you through the heart of the Garden Route, past mountain fynbos and coastal valleys. Arrive in Knysna and check in to your hotel.
In the evening, depart on a sunset cruise on the beautiful Knysna Lagoon, gliding toward the famous Heads – two dramatic sandstone cliffs that guard the lagoon’s narrow entrance to the sea – on a classic wooden vessel as the sky turns shades of amber and gold. Overnight in Knysna.
Day 5: Knysna – Oudtshoorn Full-Day Excursion
After breakfast, set off on a full-day excursion to Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo – a dramatic semi-desert landscape framed by the Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountains.
Begin at the Highgate Ostrich Show Farm, where you can meet, touch, and even ride the world’s largest bird on one of the most entertaining farm experiences in South Africa.
Continue to the breathtaking Cango Caves, a vast system of limestone caverns decorated with extraordinary stalactites, stalagmites, and cave formations stretching over four kilometres underground.
Your final stop is the Cango Wildlife Ranch, home to white tigers, lions, cheetahs, crocodiles, and many more fascinating animals. Return to Knysna in the late afternoon. Overnight in Knysna.
