Day 1: Arrival Auckland

Upon arrival you will be met by our local representative in the Arrival hall. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Auckland Sky Tower

After Breakfast, visit the Sky Tower in Auckland, which offers a variety of experiences for a short-day tour. You can start by taking in the panoramic views of the city and harbor from the observation decks. The Sky Tower also features a glass-bottomed viewing platform, thrilling for those who dare to look down! Later take a short walk to Viaduct Harbour. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Waiheke Winery Tour

After Breakfast, take a ferry to Waiheke Island. Guests will be greeted at the Waiheke wharf with an Ananda signboard. The tour will visit three of the island’s top boutique vineyards for tastings and include a commentated scenic tour of the island by one of the experienced, local guides who have extensive knowledge of the island, its people and its produce. On the way, stunning scenery is absolutely unavoidable! The tour includes lunch and a glass of wine at a local favourite before heading back to the ferry. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Auckland to Rotorua via Waitomo

After Breakfast, travel across the rich Waikato farmland to Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the Waitomo Caves and a boat ride through the famous Glowworm Grotto. Enjoy twinkling lights emitting from the ceiling like stars in a dark night. Check in to your hotel in Rotorua. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Rotorua Sightseeing

After Breakfast, proceed to the Agrodome to witness the Agrodome Agricultural Show, where you will be entertained by New Zealand’s performing sheep and other attractions.

Later proceed to visit Te Puia thermal village known for its hot springs, geysers and boiling mud pools. Watch the Maori craftsmen and learn about the traditional arts of carving and weaving. In the evening, explore Te Puia in Rotorua – a cultural centre and geothermal park. Visitors can explore the geothermal valley, witness iconic geysers, and learn about Maori culture through guided tours and performances. It offers an immersive experience, showcasing Maori traditions and craftsmanship.

Later immerse yourself in a unique geothermal experience at Hell’s Gate. Enjoy a therapeutic mud bath and soak in the soothing sulphur spas surrounded by a stunning geothermal landscape. Rejuvenate your body and soul in this natural haven, renowned for its healing properties. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Rotorua – Auckland Airport – Queenstown Airport

After breakfast, travel to Auckland Airport and board your flight to Queenstown. Upon arrival in the alpine city, transfer to your hotel. Check in to your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Shotover Jet Boat

After breakfast, enjoy the exciting Shotover Jet Boat ride through the spectacular Shotover River Canyons – the only company permitted to operate in these dramatic narrow gorges. Skimming past rocky outcrops at close range, twist and turn through the canyons at breathtaking speeds. A major highlight: hold tight for the world-famous Shotover Jet full 360-degree spins! Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Gondola Ride with 3 Luge Rides

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy a scenic Gondola ride offering breathtaking views as you ascend to the Skyline complex on Bob’s Peak. Once at the top, get ready for an adrenaline-filled adventure with three luge rides. The luge tracks combine twists, turns, and tunnels for an exciting, gravity-driven experience suitable for all ages. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Queenstown – Milford Sound Nature Cruise

After breakfast, get incredibly close to nature, including the famous Stirling Falls. From the large open-top deck or comfy interior cabins, enjoy the most popular Milford Sound cruise. This two-hour cruise takes in the highlights of Milford Sound while the skipper provides a fascinating commentary (English). The cruise follows the full length of the fiord on a modern vessel with comfortable indoor seating and tall windows for panoramic viewing. The large open outdoor upper deck affords excellent wildlife viewing including seals, dolphins and penguins when in season. Day 10: Queenstown – Franz Josef

After breakfast, drive from Queenstown to Franz Josef. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Franz Josef – Twin Glacier Helicopter Line

After breakfast, experience both Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier in one trip! Land on the snow plains of a Glacier, step out and take it all in. Admire views of the Southern Alps and soaring Mt Cook. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Franz Josef – Christchurch

After breakfast, drive from Franz Josef to Christchurch. Drop the car at city centre. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Christchurch

Breakfast at hotel. Day free for leisure. Explore the Garden City at your own pace – stroll through the beautiful Botanic Gardens, visit the Christchurch Art Gallery, or browse the unique Re:Start container mall. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Christchurch Airport – Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Christchurch airport for your flight back home.
