Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg

Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport and be met by our representative for a private transfer to your hotel. Check in and freshen up.

The rest of the day is at leisure – we suggest a visit to Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton for an introductory walk through one of Johannesburg’s most elegant precincts. Overnight in Johannesburg.

Day 2: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

After breakfast, check out and transfer to OR Tambo Airport for your domestic flight to Hoedspruit Airport in Limpopo. Upon arrival, meet your lodge representative and transfer to your safari lodge in the Kruger area.

Check in and enjoy lunch at the lodge before setting out on an afternoon Big Five game drive in an open 4×4 safari vehicle through the magnificent mopane woodland and riverine bush of the Kruger ecosystem. Dinner at the lodge. Overnight at the lodge.

Note: Children under 6 years are not permitted on game drives.

Day 3: Kruger National Park – Big Five Safari

Begin the day with an early morning wake-up call and sunrise game drive – the golden hour in the bush when lions return from the night’s hunt, elephants gather at waterholes, and leopards lounge beneath the acacia trees.

Return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy leisure time relaxing by the pool or on the viewing deck while listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Later in the afternoon, head out for another exciting safari drive as wildlife becomes active again during the cooler hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Kruger National Park – Big Five Safari

Another unforgettable day awaits in the African bush. Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Relax during the midday heat before venturing out once more in the late afternoon for another thrilling safari experience.

With the expert guidance of your ranger and tracker, you may encounter all of the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino – along with incredible birdlife and diverse ecosystems. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Kruger to Sun City

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and onward transfer to Sun City.

Sun City is a legendary inland resort located beside the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, offering luxury hotels, championship golf courses, restaurants, entertainment venues, casinos, and the famous Valley of Waves.

Spend the remainder of the day exploring the resort and its spectacular surroundings. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 6: Sun City – Valley of Waves & Resort

After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure in Sun City. Spend time at the Valley of Waves water park, explore the Maze of the Lost City, visit the Butterfly Sanctuary and Animal World, or simply relax by the pool.

Sun City offers a wide variety of entertainment including live shows, concerts, watersports, golf, and gaming activities suitable for the entire family. Overnight in Sun City.

Day 7: Sun City to Mossel Bay – Garden Route

After breakfast, transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to George on the scenic Garden Route. Collect your self-drive rental vehicle and drive approximately one hour to Mossel Bay, a charming harbour town known for its beaches and maritime history.

Visit the historic Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex and the famous Post Office Tree, used as a mail collection point since the 1500s. Overnight in Mossel Bay.

Day 8: Mossel Bay – Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a free day in Mossel Bay at your own pace. Optional activities include shark cage diving, visiting the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or relaxing at Santos Beach — one of the warmest-water beaches on the Garden Route. Overnight in Mossel Bay.

Day 9: Mossel Bay to Hermanus

After breakfast, drive along the scenic coastal route to Hermanus, internationally renowned as one of the best land-based whale-watching destinations in the world.

Between June and December, Southern Right Whales gather in Walker Bay and can often be seen from the town’s famous clifftop walking paths. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the peaceful seaside atmosphere. Overnight in Hermanus.

Day 10: Hermanus – Zip Line & Quad Biking

After breakfast, enjoy an action-filled day of adventure activities surrounded by spectacular natural scenery.

Begin with a thrilling treetop zip line experience across waterfalls, canyons, and forests. Later, embark on the famous Hermanus Quad Bike Trail through renowned vineyards, mountain trails, and the fynbos-rich Fernkloof Nature Reserve.

Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Hermanus and Walker Bay before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Hermanus.

Day 11: Hermanus to Cape Town via Babylonstoren

After breakfast, drive toward Cape Town with a scenic stop at Babylonstoren, a historic Cape Dutch wine estate dating back to 1692.

Explore its extraordinary gardens filled with edible, medicinal, and ornamental plants during a guided tour before continuing onward to Cape Town.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the lively V&A Waterfront. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 12: Cape Town – Table Mountain & Seal Island Cruise

After breakfast, ride the revolving cable car to the summit of Table Mountain for breathtaking panoramic views across Cape Town, the Atlantic Ocean, and the surrounding mountains.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise to Seal Island in Hout Bay, home to a thriving colony of Cape fur seals. The rest of the day is free for optional activities including Robben Island tours or waterfront exploration. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 13: Cape Town – Cape Peninsula & Helicopter Ride

After breakfast, embark on a full-day Cape Peninsula tour. Explore the colourful Bo-Kaap district, Green Market Square, and the Castle of Good Hope before travelling along the spectacular coastal route toward Cape Point and Simon’s Town.

Later, experience an exhilarating helicopter ride over Cape Town, taking in unforgettable aerial views of the city bowl, Atlantic coastline, Twelve Apostles mountain range, and Cape Peninsula. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 14: Cape Town – Leisure

After breakfast, enjoy a free day to explore Cape Town at your own pace. Options include visiting the Cape Winelands of Stellenbosch or Franschhoek, exploring Boulders Beach penguin colony, kayaking along the coastline, or relaxing at Clifton or Camps Bay Beach with Table Mountain as your backdrop. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 15: Departure from Cape Town

After breakfast, drive to Cape Town International Airport for your onward flight home.
