Day 2: Hegra – Saudi Arabia’s First UNESCO World Heritage Site

After breakfast, depart for an unforgettable full-day exploration of Hegra, also known as Mada’in Salih — Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Arabian Peninsula’s most extraordinary archaeological treasures.

Once the southern capital of the Nabataean Kingdom, Hegra contains more than 110 monumental rock-carved tombs spread across a breathtaking desert landscape. Accompanied by an expert guide, explore the remarkable tomb clusters adorned with Nabataean inscriptions, mythological symbols, and intricate carvings that have remained preserved for over 2,000 years.

Day 3: Dadan, Jabal Ikmah & Old Town

Breakfast at the resort. Begin the day with a visit to Dadan, one of the Arabian Peninsula’s earliest and most sophisticated ancient kingdoms. Explore the archaeological remains of temples, tombs, and city structures carved into the sandstone cliffs, including the impressive Lion Tombs that overlook the valley below.

Continue to Jabal Ikmah, often described as the largest open-air library in Saudi Arabia. This remarkable canyon is filled with thousands of ancient inscriptions and petroglyphs in several early scripts, documenting centuries of prayers, trade journeys, and daily life across the region.

In the afternoon, explore the beautifully restored AlUla Old Town, a fascinating mud-brick settlement that remained inhabited until the 1980s. Wander through narrow alleyways lined with traditional homes, local cafés, artisan workshops, and lively markets selling dates, spices, silver jewellery, and handcrafted souvenirs unique to the AlUla region. Day 5: Adventure Hub & Departure

After breakfast, spend your final morning at AlUla’s Adventure Hub, where you may enjoy thrilling outdoor activities set against the spectacular sandstone scenery. Experience ziplining, suspended obstacle courses, rock climbing, or simply relax and admire the dramatic desert environment.
